Fundación Formetal is a non-profit organization governed by a Board elected from the Federación Vizcaína de Empresas del Metal. Its founding purposes are: professional development of workers at all levels, both employed and unemployed, as well as preparation for employability and improve the competitiveness of enterprises and organizations in metal sector.
Formetal develops all kinds of business, professional and cultural activities, among them training, counseling, studies and projects, with the main objective of:
• Promote business development;
• Get the professional development of managers and employees at all levels;
• Improve the performance of companies and their organizations;
• Develop a new corporate culture and spread a socially positive image of private enterprise.
Inveslan is a private research organisation working in the area of economic and social research, specialised in the fields of training (vocational and adult training) and employment. It is specialized in carrying out training needs analysis for companies, business associations, professional associations and clusters; and also sectoral and trans sectorial researches both at regional and national level, with a prospective approach.
The organisation was created in Bilbao in 2002 to respond to the challenges of training, employment and socio-labour inclusion through the development of research and development programmes, and counts on a working team formed of professionals coming from different areas of expertise (sociologists, economists, specialists in socio-labour inclusion, specialists in education and pedagogy, specialists in ICTs and education).
Established in 1922 (re-established in 1989) and ranked among the TOP 800 universities in the world (QS World University Rankings), Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) is one of the most liberal and modern academic institutions in Lithuania.
VMU offers over 45 BA programmes, 50 MA programmes, 15 postgraduate programmes, doctoral studies in 18 scientific fields. Today there are over 7.500 undergraduate and postgraduate students, 220 doctoral students, around 500 international students are coming every year.
University’s Centre for Enterprise Practices offers different programmes for students to obtain and develop new skills. Its mission is to increase regional economic growth and prosperity, to stimulate international trade and investment, to encourage international exchange and cooperation, to ensure the connection between education and business.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dobrich is a host structure of the Enterprise Europe Network – the largest network of contact points providing information and advice to EU companies on EU matters with more than 580 member organizations across the EU and beyond. They include chambers of commerce and industry, technology centres, universities and development agencies.
CCI has extensive experience in project regarding: building connections between education and business; qualifications, new skills for new jobs, creativity and innovations, cross-border and regional cooperation.
ABIF is a Viennese institute specialized in social science research and consulting. The institute was founded in 1999 and seeks to design and realize research as well as evaluation studies. Its focus is on application. The topics are labor market studies, labor and health, development of the world of work and demands in the vocational education sector. It is one of ABIF’s objectives to transfer results and know-how based on research to the practitioners and professionals in the field.
ABIF was involved in many European projects in the field of quality in VET as well as vocational orientation, such as QualiTools for ICT-Trainers, Dualvet, Naviguide, OWLS, SCAN or S2CPT. On the national level, the Austrian Employment Service (AMS) as well as other public bodies are major clients.

ABU gGmbH Academy for Career Development and Re-training (non-profit, limited) is a Berlin based private VET service provider, established in 1990.
ABU offers initial VET and further training in a wide range of craft, commercial and service professions. Target groups are young adults with starting problems (initial vocational training), unemployed and/ or low qualified adults (further training) as well as pupils (professional orientation) and others. The institution has a staff of about 100 experienced teachers, trainers and social & life skills trainers.
In its capacity as a VET service provider ABU is a reliable partner of local SMEs and their apprentices. It provides training support services in order to bring small enterprises into a position to offer apprenticeships to young people and to accompany them during the whole training period (3 years) up to the final vocational examination. Since 2015 ABU is in charge of a Federal project in the field of external VET management.
